I don't think entertainment can't just entertain because there has to be some "story" to the entertainment and I think all stories have to have some sort of challenge/tension to them to be interesting and/or everyone has a different idea of what is entertaining.

Some people though are afraid or anxious or have other issues about things someone else might enjoy (dancing) and the person who enjoys it wishes everyone could enjoy it too. It is a little more difficult if they have a girl trying to tell a boy that something isn't girlish. How would she know from her perspective? :-)

I like the old "real" cartoons like Loony Toons but don't care much for the modern animations like The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy, etc.
