maybe you can give her online resources so she can research that it IS common to to go with talk to someone. Also, when I was an RA in college, we would often to offer the student to the meeting. It sometimes helps to have someone there to support them through the big step of getting there. You don't have to stay or sit in the first meeting, but maybe support her in the waiting room?
