My daughter and I are both on Lamictal for bipolar. I'm also on Wellbutrin and Risperdal, my daughter takes Intuniv and Wellbutrin (she also has ADD). We had to lower her Lamictal dose because it was making her agitated. She calmed right down once the dose was lowered. Even though it's considered a mood stabilizer, it can still trigger mania, believe it or not. Definitely let your doctor know. The anger and irritability can be a sign of mania.
