My T once told me that for the first six months he was seeing he, he felt like he didn't have anything to offer me (this was years later in our therapy that he told me this). Scared me a little.
As for EMS, he once called the cops on me when I threatened suicide, said I would go to the hospital, then changed my mind. They came to his office and escorted me to the ambulance. Really freaked me out! Realized later that he cared enough to call my bluff but it really scared me at the time.
