You can do it and will be well rewarded by it too. That is what helped me so much when I started a helalthy lifestyle eatting plan. We were handed little booklets to write in, with columns for whate, how much, what time and we also had to look up the fat calories and the total calories after the first month.
Once you know your 'habits', your dietcian will be able to help you with little steps, change things that aren't helpful to what ever your goals are.
