Depression does this. WI you have just come through a very stressful event, and often depression deepens at this time. Give yourself some slack, tell yourself you'll be okay and that you're doing the best you can right now.
Keep plodding along, but try and change the mental message you are giving yourself. Give yourself permission to go slower. In fact, why not adjust your schedule, and plan some time when all you do IS play a card game? Not feeling guilty over needing a distraction will help you accomplish more, imo. TC
