Last night I had a very interesting dream- I was at a familiar beach town with a friend who actually used to go to this particular beach with me when we were younger. We were walking on the boardwalk, when we saw a large whale out in the ocean right near the beach. I don't know if we identified it in the dream, but I think it was a humpback. We walked down to the beach with the crowd to get a closer look. Just after the whale disappeared, a white great dane came bounding out of nowhere and leapt over our heads! It was pretty random. I tend to have animal dreams and I love whales and dogs, too. I should also note that yesterday, a dead whale actually washed up on the beach in this town. I am wondering if this dream was my subconscious trying to recreate a better scenario for the whale.
