it's my thought that unless we are willing to surrender to the fact we need to fix our addiction problem, everything stays the same. for many of us it's a conscious decision we make, hopefully for a lifetime, that we learn to accept our way doesn't work. that running/escaping away, when we get there, we take ourselves with us. i was the problem. only i could make that choice to admit i was defeated.
