I have never once associated Emo and Depressed as one in the same.

Depression is a disorder where Emo, for all intents and purposes is a label for a social group.

When I think of Emo, I never think of Depression, I think of kids dressing a certain way and listening to certain music.

In my opinion, I don't think one has to do with the other.
