I really think she gets it. That's why she kept calling back. There is no such thing as changing the day for the wrong reason - I RECOGNIZE that thought, granite! I have had that exact same thought! For the wrong reason. Because otherwise she'll get mad at you, if it's for the wrong reason, I know! Because with the mother, that's an excuse she would use to get out of a promise to us, the wrong reason. But she would have given it to us for the RIGHT reason - but we never could come up with the right reason, could we? I KNOW logically our mothers aren't the same person, but in many ways they are. Really eerie.
