I'm getting really worried and concerned

Last month I had two peroids, but they fell in step with my birthcontrol for the most part (I had one at the very beginning of the month and one at the very end of the month, I am almost 100% sure they fell in sync with my birth control and the placebo pills)

This month I'm on my 9th day straight of bleeding, I'm really upset and really scared, I've always had problems with my periods but after getting on birth control it really straightened things out for the most part besides when I would get extremely stressed out.

I'm going to start calling gynecologists Monday and trying to get in as soon as possible. I've had no life style changes besides adopting a dog and my spring semester started this month.

Has anyone had this happen before? I"m sick with worry and all I can do is sit and cry and wait for my boyfriend to be home.
