well, if your "friend" doesn't care at all about you, why do you consider them a friend? like love, friendship exists when both people feel the same about the other. so, it appears that your assumption is right that this is a crush on your part.

if it is a crush, and your "friend" doesn't care about you at all, then i would suggest that your restrain your emotions for this friend and try to meet others who are true friends, one of whom will hopefully find you attractive. please move on and try not to waste your time / life on unavailable people.
