Just saw my T and she was downloading a program while we talked. It kept interrupting itself with automatic updates, so she had to "babysit" the program. (She asked me if this was ok before we began. I'm pretty casual, it didn't bother me in the slightest.) While we were working, she accidentally turned off the download, so I decided to give her a little computer advice, and showed her how to disable screen savers, automatic shutoffs, and the main culprit, automatic updates.
It really made me feel good that I could help her for once
instead of the other way around. Of course, my session was extended for those few minutes to make up for the time, and we did discuss everything I needed to discuss. Plus we raised one of my meds. Ugh!
But I still came home feeling very good about myself.
