I understand that usually parents die before their kids, but it is very hard when she's so 'active'. She's retired, but babysits my bro's 3 kids, work on the yard, volunteers to help out at the church, etc.
I guess it's best to go on with our lives as if all is ok, and just go to appointments when scheduled, and take it a day at a time.
Speaking of keeping healthy, saw my opthamalogist today and he said he's happy with my eye pressures. They're both 15, which is within the acceptable range. As long as I can keep them 19 or below, I'm ok. About time something good happened.
