Reminding is good. I try to ride out some of my panic attacks (when practical) by repeating to myself, "This won't kill me. It only feels that way!" Lol. Despite years of effort using this and focused breathing, I've never been able to stop one, but it's still worthwhile. Bonus points for conserving meds.
