How do you get through your periods of depression to find the "little moments" in-between when things don't feel as bad?
I try and focus on the space between my breath, just after you inhale and before you exhale ... it helps ground me in the present moment. While in a depressive state, the present moment can be terrifying, but if you can look it in the face (by acknowledging the space in between) it breaks it into smaller, more manageable fragments... and those don't seem quite so scary. Most of the time any how...
What do you do?
