Alaskan, You said you lived alone. I know living alone was very bad for me, it made my depression worse. So I got 2 cats, which required me to focus on something other than my depression, if only for a few minutes at a time. I had two little 8 wk old "babies" that needed to be played with, fed, litter changed, and just petted. Sometimes I just sat with one on my lap and stroked her. Among all the things you've gotten to help, I will add this, find something alive that needs you. Bird, rabbit, cat, whatever.
