To answer your question requires a bit of history. Effexor was prescribed to me about 2 years ago. After 10 weeks or so it became apparant that this drug was doing nothing much more than adding weight to me among a number of other side effects as well as adding much much more to my current emotional trauma.

I weaned far more rapidly than what you are doing, so I guess I can say that yes, the shuffling stopped. But it is something I really remember and can relate to.

Sorry if this doens't really help - I do understand the .... the .... the feeling ......sensation .... feeling .... whatever ... And yes .... it is very much the worst feeling and sound in the world!

I wish you much strength. As lame as it sounds ... it does eventually get better.
