Well from my personal experience, people deff tend to "stigmatize" when it comes to mental illness....Unfortunately, I learned this first hand when my husband of 6 years left me when I was first diagnosed back in 2005....He stated that he didn't want to understand and didn't have time to deal with a "head case"......
