I saw the movie "Waking Up Wally" about Wayne Gretzky's father's recovery from a bad stroke and subsequently brain surgery; "shoes on right feet" was one of his retraining skills. What a story - imagine being Wayne OR his dad, and the dad not really knowing who Wayne is, or how much he helped Wayne. MI, however you come by it, can be so sad.
