Welcome to the wonderful world of psychiatry is all i would say - no two doctors are going to tell you the same thing, it all depends on what experience they've had and to be honest - their own perception of the situation. Ive been told ive had everything from pyschotic depression to cyclothymia. Perhaps stay with one therapist for at least 6 months as you may have been in slightly different states each time you saw a different therapist and maybe thats why they all said varying things (Ive got to say though your mental state shouldn't make too much difference - after all symptoms are symptoms).
Bare in mind though - BPD is a controversial diagnosis, its difficult to diagnose and even harder usually to get the right treatment for it. A lot of doctors don't really know how to handle BPD patients and just right them off as difficult and manipulative. At least your able to access someone who specialises in the disorder. I guess all i would say is keep trying. Good luck.
