I have slept walked since I was a little child and it can be intrusive, confusing (I wake up mid walk) not to mention annoying since I always feel like I didn't get enough sleep. It's not something that happens often but it is so frightening waking up not having a clue what your doing. I was prescribed sleeping pills to keep my butt in bed and so far they have worked as well as tea and taking myself to a calm place before drifting off. One of the funniest sleep walking moments it was 3 am and apparently I was busy folding laundry in our room when I woke my husband up doing so, he said what are you doing?!? Tried shaking me awake, i made a pyramid out of tees and jeans and was wearing 3 pairs of underwear and bras clasped and all, he flicked on the light and his laughter is what woke me up. At the time it was confusing, and scary thinking I'm glad all I was doing was building things with laundry but it is funny now. Are you prescribed anything for sleep? It might help, I don't know each case is different.
