Don't Feed The Borderline
Standing inside I look out from my cage,
Bars thick and clear help hide all my rage,
I look to the world with Borderline eyes, Borderline smiles, while living on Borderline time.
My cage is empty except for the pain,
I've tried to describe it and give it a name.
The others pass by and look past the bars at me,
Narcissistic thoughts make me wonder what they see.
Do they notice the cage or know what I am?
Blurred memories mostly and rejected plans.

Don't Feed The Borderline
Trapped by fears; strangled with my grief,
Of childhood lost and poisonous words,
I search for my voice that has yet to be heard.
It's hard to describe feelings that are mangled and sliced.
Hungry and waiting.
Lost and unwise.
I look outside the cage and unnoticed, I cry.
