Maybe,

I can truely feel for you especially with the migraines. I ended up with continuous migraines....or maybe it is just one migraine that doesn't end. The pain specialist that I have now needed an MRI of my brain.....which showed up several white spots which he called leisons.....caused by migraines. What has really helped me with the pain was that this pain specialist was willing to prescribe the amount of narcotic that keeps the migraines away. My previous pain specialist treated my migraines as if there was "breakthrough" pain.....which it wasn't....it was that the pain never ever went away. Now I don't have the migraine pain anymore, it has also help with the depression. Who would think that prescribing a heavy dose of narcotic to control the pain would also help the depression.

It must be frustrating to have to appeal the disability......you are right, no one would hire someone that needs 2-3 days off work each week for pain. I have heard many people who get denied disibility several times....but it seems like the 3rd time is usually the charm & they finally realize that you are disabled when you don't give up quickly. Here in California, there are clinics where people can go to for medical help when they don't have insurance. I agree with you......upping the dose of AD's isn't the answer.....controlling the pain is where they should start with. Your description did sound like those I know with fibromialgia & cronic fatigue......I remember it feels like having mono continuously...topped by body pain.

I hope you can find some help before finally getting onto disability.......It is depressing dealing with pain that isn't controlled. I hope you can find a specialist in the area of fibromialgia & cronic fatigue.......I know that some Dr's are willing to help someone that is in desperate need of help.....maybe you can appeal to their oath to help people who are in need.
