For me personally ive never actually said anything unless the person has asked about it. I mean when ur covered in bandages its sort of hard to ignore but generally the people ive been with both sexually and otherwise have either been genuinely concerned or just curious. Don't feel pressurised into saying anything if u don't want too - if the person ur with cares about u enough they should be respectful of your choice not to discuss the topic if u don't wish too.
