I'm not sure but I suspect that this might have to do with the fact that this T is working for my company's EAP. I would think there mandate is to "fix" people as soon as possible and get them out of therapy.

I think I'm gonna try find a T in private practice. I think any T through my company EAP might be bias. Plus since its free I find there is a power struggle, since I'm not actually paying for the service I don't really feel like I have any basis to complain on.
