Conceived in Louisville, KY. Born in Pomona, CA because my mother went on vacation while pregnant and I decided to be a seven-month preemie. (Funny that I was born within a few miles of where my husband grew up, but it took us over 40 years to meet.) Raised mostly in Louisville, always went back there as sort of a home base when things blew up elsewhere, but lived all over the country. Mostly the Southern states with some of the Midwest thrown in. Not for any good reason like military assignment, just family instability. Moved to Washington (state) to join my husband in 2007, lived here ever since. Never going back to Kentucky again. Nothing left there for me.
