I was prescribed a different antidepressant (zoloft) a few years ago to allegedly help with pain from a herniated disc. I began having violent nightmares of war. This was not normal for me at all. I stopped taking the zoloft and they went away. I then read violent dreams are a side effect of some antidepressants.
