what i did with my crappy bosses like that was i just smiled at them..every time they did something annoying & tried to be a jerk...i smiled.

none of his business where you live...let him know that. period. you could be living in the biggest cardboard box as long as you show for work clean & ready to go none of his business.

get a little notepad & document when you ask for a shift change etc. date & time..exact words. then what he says.
when he makes comments that are wrong..do same. says you are the worst ever. yup..

when he asks why just tell him you feel the need to remember everything...when he says you can't do that at work...say fine. just carry a piece of paper & do it.

you do not have to show it to him.

you need the job but not the bs.

he isn't there to motivate you...basically he needs you to work your shifts what ever they may be & do your job.

it sounds like if you aren't full time you probably don't have many options..but i would get a dr's note for sure to get him off your back...& don't cry...nothing says weak like crying...it shows him that you are fodder for his abuse.

if you need time off for dr appts etc present him with appt cards so that he can see that..just don't go in & say...i won't be here on _________

good luck..sounds like he is a jerk with poor people skills...but you also have to remember that he is running a business & needs to have employees present to do so..
