eating regularly balanced meals are great for anything and everything which is why tv personnel get away with saying such stuff.
but I have found out from personal experience that having a healthy diet is not a sure thing for preventing cancer. There are many cancers out there that are hereditary and there are many out there that are cased by bacteria for example
I have Lymphoma
The bacterial strain called Heliobacter plyoria caused my cancer.
Lymphoma a non hodgekins type of blood cancer that travels the body by way of the lymph nodes.
Lung cancer runs in my family as does colon cancer
I also have a friend whos relative got testical cancer by playing ball and getting hit in the privates during the game and he did not see a physician afterwards so the damage (bruises are caused by blood vessels breaking and leaking blodd into areas under the skin) was not taken care of and so the swelling and bruising remained. Which resulted in testical cancer.
Eating right and keeping up with physical health helps but it will not prevent it which is why cancer still kills many today even though we have the technology to study it.
Don't mean to burst anyones bubbles but I for one am going to remain firmly grounded and not lead myself and others into false hopes and so on.
I don't go out of my way following fad diets and so on just because someone on tv says it prevents cancer.
I use common sense and follow my primary physicans ideas of what is physically right for me.
