I can see changes in my mental state since the surgery and I wonder how to know if my body developed a dependency to norco or not.
Sometimes I get severe ankle pain and I take my norco as prescribed, it seems to calm me somehow, which worries me! I'm in the medical field and I really watched out not to get depended on that drug, but the worsening of my depression and anxiety and the calming effect of the norco worries me. I do not feel the urge to take the medicine for that.
Currently I am also taking antibiotics due to a possible infection of the surgery site.
Does anyone have any experience or infos about this?
Sorry that it is so confusing, I hope you still understand what I mean.
Also a major side effect of the norco is that I'm wide awake and get hot (sweaty) easily!

Since you only take the drug as prescribed, and don't "feel the urge" to take it for depression or anxiety your risk seems low. There is no craving typical of addiction. From a recovering alcoholic 9 years sober.
