gma45 - you're too kind in saying that I'm a hero - never thought of myself that way but I am a fighter for myself, my kids and the occasional underdog. Typically I'm very calm and always think before I talk or act, so I surprised myself.

Calista+12 - thanks for reassuring me I was justified. Thanks also for sharing your own story of protecting your daughter - it was also funny picturing this happening. I don't think I'll be visiting you at dinner making time LOL. This is a good lesson to people - don't mess with a pissed off mother.

Harley47 - good for you with being a great big brother and I bet you will be a fantastic father. You have a real nurturing side, that is wonderful for a man to have. My oldest brother is 13 yrs older than me and sisters remember how their brothers treat them. My brother has been consistently kind to me all my life.
