Righto, I have been on effexor now since October of last year, I have noticed a shortness in breath and some awful palpitations, so I went to the doctor and he weighed me and told me I am overweight!! Having been this weight before, I can remember that I was never this breathless ever!! The side effects are listed and it advises you to tell your doctor about any that you notice.

So, he weighs me, then tells me I am overweight and then says that i am to have a blood test to test my kidney function???? I mean - hellllllllllooooooooooo there professional health person??? Wtf??

I get breathless even taking on the phone btw. Do I go for a second opinion or am i wasting my time and valuable oxygen or wot??
