How ridiculous is that!!!??? Aside from everything else, who the (bleep) is going to hire someone to do nothing????!!!!!

I've heard off the wall stuff from other people who applied for SSD. Any body out there have anything funny or interesting?
Was it SS that told you that ? "...they told me that I wasn't considered disabled because I could get a job that didn't require any skills, training, experience, or for me to even do anything!" This is one of the SS guidelines to qualify for SSD, if one can work at any type of job, then you can't get SSD.

"Disability" under Social Security is based on your inability to work. We consider you disabled under Social Security rules if:
  • You cannot do work that you did before;
  • We decide that you cannot adjust to other work because of your medical condition(s); and
  • Your disability has lasted or is expected to last for at least one year or to result in death.
