Smurf&Turf, I know this sounds simplistic but you're right - rejection sucks - but unfortunately thats life. I'm a senior Psych student and my research project was recently rejected and I'm back to square one with very little time to get this done. I'm feeling totally stressed and overwhelmed, suicidal, want to drink, take pills, SI, etc, etc. I know exactly how you feel. I'm getting through this by repeating someting I used to tell my youngest son when he would call from school feeling overwhelmed - move forward, and focus only on what I have to get done TODAY. Not next week, not the end of the semester, today. And the rejection? That's over and done with. What do I have to do to move on and focus ahead - what's my alternate choice?
Take a deep breath and put all your energy into your next interview - you CAN do it, and without resorting to any destructive behaviors. One day at a time. I have faith in you - have faith in yourself!!

I'll be rooting for you - please post again and let me know how you made out. ((hugs))
