Chompers, I started loving sugar, too, about two years ago. I cannot have tea (which I love) without sugar, and I used to drink any amount of tea without sugar without a problem. I now use Xylitol which is just as sweet (tastes even better for me), but is
good for your teeth , low Glycemic Index (good for Bipolar), and has moderately fewer (40% less) calories than sugar. I buy mine from a company called EPIC. The dental benefit was convincing for me - sugar itself is bad for your teeth and here you have something as sweet but good for the teeth - magic!
