Is this your general doc prescribing the high blood pressure meds? Do you have a separate pdoc for your psych meds? Do they communicate with each other?

In addition to the general side effects of some medicines, they may also cause interactions where one med will decrease (or increase) the effects of another. You might not only be having the side effect, but this could be messing with some of your psych meds. Your pdoc needs to be on board with any other meds you might be taking and it would be really great if the two docs could talk to each other about it. If there's any confusion about med interactions, your pharmacist is also available for consultation.

You don't have to choose between an early grave or crazy longevity. I hope the docs can help you find something that works soon.
