Any anxiety sufferers/agoraphobics that live near the coastline? I'm in Miami and am still getting over last year. How do you guys cope??

Last year we got hit by Wilma (We got hit by Katrina as well, but I feel like a douchewad even mentioning that because of the obvious.) pretty badly. I can't even begin to explain what it felt like to not be able to leave my house, my family + friends are absolutely freaking out, ready to drag me out of my house, and there's a cat. 5 heading right towards me. And there's absolutely nothing I can do about it.

Anyone share my pain? I'm getting stressed out again, because it's that time again, hurricane season is almost here. I feel like i'm still trying to get over last year! Hell, we havn't even gotten our roof fixed yet due to roofers being so overwhelmingly busy. We had a power outage a few nights ago, and it brought back memories, it was so tough on me.
