This is when I knew my first psych (as a teen) was no good:

I admitted a suicide attempt that I'd kept secret. She had my mom come in the room and said "is there something you want to tell your mother? About your attempt?" without asking me privately if I wanted to share that. I said no but felt it was worse for my mom not to know, and wonder what the "secret" was.

This lady called me at least 5 times after we terminated. Just leaving messages for me. Really weird and creepy. Took me a long time to regain trust in the psychiatric profession.

Another one: diagnosed me with a "biochemical thought disorder" and wouldn't get more specific than that. Nice catch-all diagnosis there. Maybe there's something YOU'RE missing if you can't get any more specific than that?
