Hold your horses, and let's not have any of that suicide talk. Please go to your next appointment and discuss what you have said here with the doctor. Doctors will prescribe what they see as the most efficient, effective treatment, but often without considering the total picture (I had a nice doctor prescribe a wonderful, effective drug for me -- that I could not afford!) So go to your next appointment and tell your doctor that losing your job is NOT good for your mental health and ask him to explore other options with you.
