I oversleep for a variety of reasons. Sometimes its a nutrient deficiency, I'm just not eating well enough, or sometimes its just a strong bout of depression (for me anyway). It's not as bad when I have a job or classes because I pride myself in being reliable, so I'm always where I say I'll be, but now, as a part time student with no real job... well... sleeping for 10 hours and taking a 4 hour afternoon nap is a very common occurrence.
I'm tempted to ask my doctor to recommend a sleep study for me actually. Anyone else done one?
