Reading this thread is interesting. I was diagnosed with fibro this past summer. Prior to that I have been in treatment for some pretty serious depression (bipolar type 2?) and finally got stable on a med cocktail. Anyway, I now take a lot of things in combination that you all have been told are not okay. I've been told there's a risk, but what I'm taking is okay together.
I take: Zoloft, Buspar, Lamictal, Wellbutrin (just started this week for bad SAD) Lyrica, Tramadol, Ativan, Ambien and a few others that aren't depression or fibro related.
I've been on a psych med combo in different forms for about 3 years now, and no serotonin syndrome problems. I really want to simplify my meds, but for now, feeling good is more important.
