I've heard of baby boys getting erections and of young children stimulating themselves (although they tend not to know what masturbation is, so it's unintentional from that point of view). I imagine a lot more people masturbated as children than they would admit or even realise. A sensitive area is a sensitive area... some find it quicker than others.
