And also, when it was dark in the room, I could see movements too. Like the dots I think is normal to see, like picture "noise" if anyone knows what that is. When I was around 3 or 4 years old, I remember I was afraid at night because I would see things move around ( not objects, but.. blotches), so I slept in my mom's bed one night. Well that night I saw two spinning circles that not only spun themselves, but were spinning around the room, above me. They would sometimes go low enough to touch me, and when they did, it hurt my legs. Sorry that this sounds so weird!! I had other times where I saw the spinning things in my childhood too. But now, I can't see any of that. Well, sometimes I see some movement when closing my eyes but nothing like how it used to be. And nothing in the dark. Maybe it has to do with children's eyes developing?? Anyone ever experience anything close to this at all?
Best graphic for what it sometimes looked like when closing my eyes. I googled it, and wikipedia said its a Closed-Eye Hallucination , also called a Closed-Eye Visualization

yup I experience it all the time.
for some its called visual hallucinations for others its called optical illusions /mind playing tricks...
example of the last two look at a black dot with a white or red background for a few seconds. then turn your head off of the black dot on a background. you will see the black dot and background again but it will be in different colors other than black/white or black/red.
this is the normal way the brain works.. it commits everything you see to memory so that even if the object seen isnt right there your brain can reconstitute that object for you.
for some people this brain activity happens more than others. its completely normal regardless of how often it happens. just the way the brain works in some people.
if its a hallucination -
there are many causes for it - mental disorders, medication reactions, physical health problems.
only a treatment provider can tell you which the problem is in you and how best to make it stop.
for me the problem is usually things like sleep deprivation, optical illusions, medication problems and on rare occasions its because of the psychotic symptoms with my having bipolar disorder, sometimes it is because of my having migraines.. and other reasons.
my suggestion contact your treatment provider. the solution may be as simple as a change of meds or dosage, or adding medication.
