Maybe if you give her a call just to give her the heads up that you are having this effect (and I understand you in dead vs numb, btw) and though you realize it is early on, and will give it more of a chance, it's something to be aware of and to keep an eye on. That way, she realizes you may need to see her before the 6 weeks.
