I didn't ck ur profile, but if your in the US, and you are a patient of record (which you are because you saw him recently) then call him up and let him know your in pain. Period. He MUSt see you, diagnose the pain and either treat it or refer you. He doesn't have to do some big restoration, just anything to save your tooth if possible and get you out of pain.
He has to see you though, or that is neglIgence on his part which can equal legal trouble for him.

He did refer me, but I could not go in for another 3 weeks and he refused to take care of me in the meantime.
I have gone back to my other dentist adn I see her tomorrow.
Pain is the worst it's ever ever been.
i asked her for another script of vicodin. I hate that. I am so afraid that I sound like a junkie. I do not abuse pain meds.
So many doctors are cracking down on patients on that. UGH...!
In an hour I go to pharmacy to have it filled. I pray I can keep my voice down adn not get upset if it's not filled. I alawys wonder what they think; I can't count now how many scripts of pain meds I've had filled since OCTOBER!
