My company got bought out again in December, and on our first day with the new company, my entire department found out we were getting laid off on April 6th.

This is the only job I've ever had. I never thought this would happen. The company that bought us is a Fortune 500 company. They said they were cutting costs in some areas which is why they got rid of us. The people that are taking our places are already doing our jobs, and they aren't doing them very well.

It feels like losing a family.
