hold the BEBOP AND FRIENDS CHAT (a regularly scheduled time)

I'd love to chat but usually type one-handed (very slow) because of baby nursing or sleeping in my lap.

I tend to think people are not as patient in chat as they are with message boards. Some people's computers/servers are slower, and there too, they aren't patient with others. I usually limit myself an hour in chat (or instant messengers) because I need to do other stuff (namely interact with my family) . . . it's too easy to dissociate online.
