Aaah, the country life! We used to raise day old calves on the left over goat's milk and turn a profit that way. We'd also feed them the alphalpha stems the goats wouldn't eat. My two younger boys were pretty young then and would fancy themselves "rough riders" and get on the calves and try to ride them when they thought they were big enough. It was really funny to watch! Neither one of them managed to stay on past one buck of the calf. LOL
