Your pdoc is right....& the fact that your recovery has always been dependent on what's inside of you, no one can do it for you or force you to want to do it. I know that all my recoveries from everything including surgeries that required a lot of physical therapy time afterward required my determination for me to totally recover. It has to come from within......the desire has to be there.

Ugh, the stress of going through surgeries always made it hard for me to eat.....which just fed into the anorexia. I had knee reconstruction before it was done arthriscopically & was on crutches unable to put any weight on my leg for 3 months. When I finally got into physical therapy, I went at the exercise like there was no tomorrow. Partially because my leg had no muscle & I was determined to be skiing in 6 months & partially because it really was helping loose weight. Physical Therapy will help you with the exercises that you will be able to do.

Life always seems to be throwing something complicated at us. Hope all goes well.
